Pick your form, choose a photo, download a file that already passes the size and pixel checks. Everything runs on your device — nothing is uploaded.
Portals validate three separate things, and a file can pass one while failing the others. A 12KB JPEG is still rejected if it is 400×400 when the form wants 200×230 — which is why “just compress it” often does not fix the error.
| Check | What it means | How this page handles it |
|---|---|---|
| Format | JPG for photos and signatures on nearly every Indian portal | JPG is the default output; PNG and WebP stay available |
| Pixels | Exact width × height, e.g. 200×230 for IBPS and many state forms | Exam presets crop to the required aspect ratio first |
| File size | Often a band such as 20–50KB, not simply “under 50KB” | Quality is binary-searched until the file lands in the band |
Specs change between cycles. These mirror the guidelines we checked — confirm against your own notification PDF before submitting.
